Schedule and auto-post recurring journals with reversals (accruals, prepayments)
Every accountant re-keys the same journals at month-end: accruals, prepayments, depreciation-style spreads. This module turns them into reusable, balanced templates with a flexible schedule. A cron job generates the due entries automatically — in draft or auto-posted — and can drop a matching reversal entry so accruals and prepayments unwind themselves. A full run log links every posted move, so you never double-post a period.

Build a template with multiple debit/credit lines, accounts, partner, analytic distribution and a reference prefix. A live balance check flags any template that does not net to zero.
Flexible Schedules
Daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly with an interval, day-of-month, start date and an optional end date or maximum occurrence cap. Preview the upcoming run dates before you commit.
Auto Reversal
Post a matching reverse entry N days later or at the start of the next period — ideal for accruals and prepayments that need to unwind automatically.
Cron-Driven Generation
Due templates are processed automatically by a scheduled action. Prefer manual control? Use Generate Now on any template to create the next entry on demand.
Batches & Forecasts
Group templates into a batch to start, pause or run them together, and forecast the total debit/credit the batch will post across its schedule.
Run Log & Skip Dates
Each generation links the posted move and its reversal in an audit log. Add skip dates to suppress a specific run without breaking the recurring cycle.
