Compute statistically-driven reorder points and safety stock from your stock-move history, size orders with EOQ, classify products with ABC/XYZ, flag dead and slow-moving stock, and raise predictive stockout alerts - with scheduled jobs that run the analyses and create purchase orders automatically.
Key Features
Reorder Point & Safety Stock
Per product and location, derive average daily demand and standard deviation from your last 90 days of outgoing stock moves, then compute safety stock with the service-level Z-score method and a reorder point of (avg daily demand x lead time) + safety stock. Service level is configurable.
Economic Order Quantity (EOQ)
Cost-optimized order sizing using Wilson's formula from annual demand, a configurable ordering cost and a holding-cost percentage. A suggested order quantity is computed when stock falls below the reorder point.
Stockout Risk & Priority
Each reorder record is scored low, medium, high or critical from current stock versus the reorder point, and a priority value weights that risk by item value so the most urgent items surface first.
Scheduled Auto-Reorder
A daily scheduled job recomputes all reorder points and, for records flagged Auto Create Purchase Order that are at high or critical risk and have a supplier, creates real purchase orders automatically. A manual Create PO button is available on each record too.
Stockout Alerts & Email
A daily scheduled job projects stock depletion against recorded forecast demand, creates or updates alerts with severity and days-until-stockout, generates a recommended action and emails inventory managers a summary. Alerts have Acknowledge and Resolve actions.
Dead & Slow-Moving Stock
A weekly scheduled job scans on-hand products, finds the last movement and 90-day movement count, classifies each as dead (>180 days), slow (90-180 days) or normal, and estimates stock value, potential loss and turnover ratio. Create a real clearance pricelist discount rule or mark a product for liquidation (which schedules a follow-up activity).
ABC / XYZ Classification
Classify products by annual value (A/B/C via a Pareto cumulative cut-off) and demand variability (X/Y/Z via coefficient of variation) into nine combined categories, each with a recommended inventory strategy you can view per product.
