Australia Payday Super Dashboard

7-day fund-receipt tracking, overdue alerts and projected SG-charge for Payday Super (from 1 July 2026)

From 1 July 2026, Australian employers must ensure each employee's Superannuation Guarantee (SG) contribution is received by the employee's super fund within 7 business days of payday. Missing that window triggers the new Superannuation Guarantee Charge. This app gives payroll teams a single dashboard that tracks every liability against its 7-business-day deadline, raises overdue and short-paid alerts, and projects the SG charge exposure before it bites.

What it does

7-Business-Day Receipt Clock

For every payday (qualifying-earnings day) the app computes the exact date the fund must receive the contribution - 7 business days later, correctly skipping weekends and national public holidays, with an option for extra company-observed holidays.

Overdue & Short-Paid Alerts

Liabilities are classified as Received On Time, Awaiting Receipt, Due Soon, Overdue or Short-Paid. Overdue and short-paid items raise alerts so nothing slips past the deadline.

Projected SG Charge

For any late or outstanding amount the app projects the Superannuation Guarantee Charge: the shortfall, notional earnings (daily-compounded at the GIC rate) and the administrative uplift, with the published voluntary-disclosure reduction tiers.

Fund Scoreboard & Ageing

See receipt performance per destination fund and an ageing breakdown of overdue liabilities by business-days-overdue bucket, so you know which funds and which periods need chasing.

How it works

  1. Record a super liability per employee per payday - the required SG is computed automatically from ordinary time earnings at the published rate.
  2. As funds confirm receipt, enter the received amount and date.
  3. The dashboard classifies every liability against its 7-business-day deadline and surfaces overdue, short-paid and due-soon alerts.
  4. Use the SG Charge Estimator to model the cost of any late payment before it is assessed.

Designed for Australian payroll & compliance teams

Built on the Odoo community account, hr and mail modules - no Enterprise dependency. All SG rates, the maximum contribution base, the 7-business-day rule and the SG-charge components follow the ATO's published Payday Super figures. This app helps you monitor and plan; it does not lodge on your behalf.
