Every "out of stock" page and every shopper waiting for a better price is demand you are losing. This module lets visitors and customers subscribe to a product; when it comes back in stock or its price falls to their target, they are emailed automatically. There is no native Odoo equivalent — it works directly on top of the standard website_sale eCommerce stack.
Key Features
Two alert types
Subscribe to Back-in-Stock, Price-Drop or both. Price alerts fire when the sale price reaches the shopper's chosen target; stock alerts fire when availability rises above zero.
Per-variant subscriptions
Each subscription is tied to a specific product variant, partner and notification email, with a snapshot of the price at subscription time for accurate price-drop comparisons.
Automated scanning
A scheduled job scans active subscriptions, detects qualifying changes and queues notifications — with a manual "Scan Now" action for on-demand checks.
No spam, optional re-arm
A notified flag stops customers being emailed repeatedly; an optional re-arm setting keeps a subscription active so future events also notify, and stale never-converted alerts auto-cleanup.
Storefront & portal
A website controller and portal page let logged-in and guest shoppers create and manage their own alerts, with a per-customer cap to keep volumes sensible.
Pricelist-aware
Price comparisons can honour the website pricelist, so a shopper's target is checked against the price they would actually pay, not just the base list price.
Capture demand you already have
Turn dead "out of stock" traffic into a warm list that converts the moment you restock.
No native alternative
Odoo eCommerce has no restock or price-watch notifications — this adds them cleanly on the standard stack.
