Receive supplier comprobantes and answer Hacienda with the acceptance / partial / rejection message
The receiver side of the Costa Rica comprobante electronico v4.4 regime. When your company buys, the supplier issues an electronic comprobante and you must answer the Ministerio de Hacienda with a MensajeReceptor stating whether you accept it for your tax records. This connector ingests, validates and answers those received documents — built on the shared e-Invoice Core Engine and the Costa Rica Hacienda 4.4 issuance connector.
Parse every received family
FacturaElectronica, Nota de Credito, Nota de Debito and Factura de Exportacion are parsed by local element name (namespace and prefix tolerant) into a normalized document: Clave, consecutivo, emission date, supplier and buyer cedulas, currency, lines with IVA and the full ResumenFactura totals. The appended XAdES signature is ignored while walking the tree.
MensajeReceptor v4.4
Builds the receiver-message XML in the exact schema order for Aceptado (1), Aceptado parcialmente (2) and Rechazado (3), with its own 50-digit Clave and 20-digit consecutivo (receiver tipoDoc 05) and a mod-11 self-check helper. The creditable IVA is computed for you.
Validation & decision engine
A Costa Rica inbound rule set layered on the engine framework checks the Clave and consecutivo structure, the supplier and buyer cedula type↔length matrix, the emission date, an ISO-4217 currency and the ResumenFactura coherence. A decision helper recommends accept or reject — rejecting non-answerable families, mis-addressed documents and structurally invalid XML.
Three ways to ingest
Upload a single XML or a ZIP of many, fetch a comprobante by Clave from the Hacienda recepcion endpoint, or register one straight from a vendor bill — auto-matched to the supplier by cedula and amount.
BYOK clearance
The signed MensajeReceptor envelope is submitted over the engine's REST transport (retry, backoff and full logging) to the official sandbox / production reception endpoints, which are pre-filled but user-editable. Your Hacienda credentials and e-seal certificate stay on your own database and are never bundled.
Operational
A status-polling cron, a vendor-bill stat button, downloadable MensajeReceptor XML, transport logging and menus under the e-Invoicing menu. Mandatory comprobante regime since 1-Sep-2025 (Decreto 44739-H); TRIBU-CR platform live since 6-Oct-2025.

Disclosure: this module transmits the MensajeReceptor only to the Hacienda recepcion endpoint you configure. No data is sent anywhere else, and your credentials and certificate / private key never leave your database.
