EU IBAN ES/PT
Offline IBAN validation for Spain & Portugal: ISO 13616 MOD 97-10, national CCC/NIB control digits, bank identification, inline checks, batch validation/repair and a validation log.
Catch wrong bank account numbers *before* a payment or SEPA mandate fails. This app validates Spanish and Portuguese IBANs **fully offline** -- no external API, no internet call -- and identifies the bank from a bundled Banco de España / Banco de Portugal entity-code table.
Key Features
Real algorithms, no shortcuts
- the ISO 13616 / ISO 7064 MOD 97-10 IBAN checksum, the Spanish *CCC* two control digits (over *entidad* + *oficina* and over the account number) and the Portuguese *NIB* control digits are all implemented and unit-tested. A length and character-set check per country comes first.
Bank & branch identification
- the 4-digit *entidad* / *banco* code is resolved against an offline table to show the institution name and BIC; the *oficina* / *balcao* branch code is extracted too.
Inline validation on bank accounts
- partner bank accounts gain live "valid / issue / institution" indicators driven by the account number, plus one-click *Validate* and *Repair check digits* actions.
SEPA mandates
- a self-contained mandate document whose debtor IBAN is validated on confirmation (a mandate cannot be activated with a broken IBAN).
Batch validation & repair
- a wizard scans all ES/PT accounts, logs each outcome and can rebuild the IBAN check digits when the BBAN is correct.
Validation log
- every check (manual, mandate, partner-bank, batch or scheduled) is recorded with its result, error reason and resolved bank name.
