Running events on Odoo Community usually means clunky spreadsheets at the door and no real ticket control. This app adds the full loop: define events with venue, dates and capacity, sell multiple ticket types with their own quotas and sales windows, issue one QR-tokened ticket per attendee, then check guests in by scanning at a kiosk-style screen. Capacity is enforced in the database, double check-ins and unknown tickets are rejected, and live attendance stats update as people arrive — no external ticketing platform required.

QR Tickets & Badges
Registrations issue one ticket per attendee, each with a unique token rendered as a scannable QR code image in the ticket form — tokens can be regenerated and the QR image updates automatically.
Hard Capacity Enforcement
Python constraints block any registration that would exceed the event's total capacity or a ticket type's quota, so you never oversell.
QR Check-in Flow
Scan or type a token to check an attendee in; double check-ins, cancelled and unknown tickets are rejected with a clear message, and each check-in records the time and operator.
Live Attendance Stats
Each event shows tickets sold, checked-in, no-shows, fill rate and check-in rate — the kiosk screen auto-refreshes these stats every 10 seconds via the JSON stats endpoint.
Desk Wizards
A bulk-ticket generator and a check-in wizard give front-desk staff fast tools for issuing and admitting attendees without touching technical records.
No Enterprise Lock-In
Built entirely on Community foundations — ticketing, badges and check-in without an Enterprise subscription or third-party event service.
Tablet Kiosk Screen
Open /gb_event/kiosk/<event_id> on any tablet; the browser-based kiosk screen posts tokens to the check-in endpoint in real time, shows results and auto-refreshes stats — no paper lists needed.
