Hybrid working turns desk and resource booking into a free-for-all, and Odoo has no native hot-desk or shared-equipment reservation system. This module adds one — a clean reservation board for any bookable asset, with overlap protection, capacity limits, an approval flow, check-in / check-out lifecycle and utilisation analytics.

Any bookable resource
Hot-desks, meeting rooms, parking bays, laptops and AV kits — organised by site, floor and zone, each with a capacity, optional hourly cost and a free-text feature list.
Conflict detection
Overlapping bookings of the same resource are blocked at save, and attendee counts are validated against the resource capacity so a room is never double-booked or over-filled.
Check-in lifecycle
Reservations flow through Draft, Confirmed, Checked In, Checked Out, No-Show and Cancelled, with check-in and check-out timestamps captured on each booking.
Interactive floor-plan board
Upload a floor-plan image per floor, set X/Y coordinates on each resource (0–100 % of the plan), then open the Floor Map board to see every desk and room pinned at exactly the right position with live booking counts.
Recurring bookings
A wizard creates daily or weekly series for N occurrences and automatically skips any slot that would clash, so regular desk days are set up in one step.
Auto no-show release
A scheduled job marks confirmed bookings that were not checked in within a grace period as no-show, freeing the resource, and reminds users who forget to check out past their end time.
Fills a native gap
Odoo has no hot-desk booking out of the box — this adds a complete reservation engine without Enterprise add-ons.
Approval where it matters
High-value rooms or equipment can require sign-off, while open desks book instantly — per resource.
HR-aware
Bookings link to the employee behind the user, so you can report on usage by person and team.
