Oman WPS Payroll File for Odoo
Generate the Central Bank of Oman WPS salary file (SIF), compute PASI social insurance and end-of-service gratuity, and validate Oman IBANs — built on Odoo HR, no Enterprise payroll required.
What It Does
This module covers Oman payroll compliance on top of the standard hr app. It builds the Central Bank of Oman Wage Protection System Salary Information File (a plain comma-delimited text file with no header row and no record-type tokens, one 16-field row per employee) ready for upload through your bank, computes PASI / Social Protection Fund contributions for Omani and GCC nationals, calculates end-of-service gratuity for expatriate employees under Royal Decree No. 53 of 2023, and validates Oman IBANs with the ISO 13616 checksum.
Key Features
CBO Salary Information File (SIF)
A plain comma-delimited text file in the official CBO layout: no header row and no record-type tokens, one 16-field row per employee — salary year and month, employee ID type and ID, name, bank SWIFT/BIC, account/IBAN, frequency, working days, net salary, basic, extra hours, extra income, deductions, social-security deduction and notes. Amounts to three decimals (baisa), ready for bank upload.
PASI Social Insurance
Employee 7%, employer 10.5% plus 1% job-security on the bounded contribution wage for Omani and GCC nationals; rates are editable company defaults; expatriates excluded automatically.
End-of-Service Gratuity
Royal Decree 53/2023 accrual for expatriates: 15 days' basic wage per year for the first three years and one month per year thereafter, pro-rated on days of service.
Oman IBAN Validation
ISO 13616 mod-97 check (OM + 21 characters) on banks and employees; the employee bank SWIFT/BIC used in the SIF is read from the bank record.
Batches & Settlement
Populate a salary batch from employees, review per-employee lines, download the SIF, track gratuity accruals and run a final end-of-service settlement wizard.
No Enterprise Lock-In · BYOK
Built on hr + account, so it works on Odoo Community and Enterprise alike. The module generates the file; you upload it via your own bank's WPS / Internet Banking channel. It is not a transmission integrator and is not certified by the CBO or any ministry — verify the output against your bank's current CBO SIF template before each upload.
Requirements
- Odoo 18.0 or 19.0 (Community or Enterprise).
- The hr (Employees) and account apps.
- Per-employee Civil ID/passport, IBAN and bank SWIFT/BIC for the SIF.
