Japan Zengin Furikomi for Odoo
Generate bank-ready 全銀 fixed-width credit-transfer files in Shift_JIS — straight from Odoo
Pay Japanese suppliers and employees in bulk by producing the Zengin format domestic credit-transfer (振込) file your bank expects, without leaving Odoo. The module builds the fixed-width 120-byte header, data, trailer and end records, encodes everything in Shift_JIS (cp932) and folds full-width kana, hiragana and full-width Roman/digits to the half-width katakana the clearing network requires. You download the file and upload it through your own internet-banking channel — no third-party service, no data leaves your server. Compatible with Odoo 18 and Odoo 19, Community and Enterprise.
Correct Zengin record layout
Header (record type 1), data (2), trailer (8) and end (9) records, each exactly 120 single bytes, assembled field-by-field per the Zengin-net 総合振込 specification — category code, consignor code and name, transfer date, originating and receiving bank/branch/account, deposit type, amount and bookkeeping codes.
Shift_JIS & half-width kana
A built-in folding table converts 全角カナ, ひらがな and full-width Roman/digits to the half-width katakana repertoire (JIS X 0201), with voiced/semi-voiced marks decomposed (ガ → ｶﾞ, パ → ﾊﾟ). The file is emitted as cp932 bytes that Japanese banking software reads natively.
Bank / branch / account master
Store the 4-digit bank code (金融機関コード), 3-digit branch code (支店コード), deposit type (預金種目) and account number on each beneficiary partner, and the originating account plus consignor (委託者) code on the company. Every field is format-validated before a file can be generated.
Batches with control totals
Group transfers into a batch, see the record count and summed amount as the bank's control total, preview the decoded file, then mark it sent. A one-click wizard fills a batch from posted, unpaid vendor bills.
Built for 総合振込 and 給与振込
Use the same engine for supplier payments (総合振込) and salary transfers (給与振込) by choosing the transfer category. The Zengin engine is pure Python and fully unit-tested, so the byte layout is auditable and stable across Odoo upgrades. BYOK by design: the module produces a local file only and never connects to your bank for you.
