SFS e-Factura (UBL 2.1) electronic invoicing for Odoo — upload, MSign signature & verification QR on every customer invoice
Connect Odoo to the Republic of Moldova e-Factura platform run by the State Tax Service (Serviciul Fiscal de Stat, SFS). Customer invoices and credit notes are built as Peppol-aligned UBL 2.1 documents, uploaded over an MPass-authenticated session, signed with the qualified MSign signature and the returned document identifier, series number and QR code are stored on the move — ready for the mandatory B2B e-Factura obligation phasing in through 2026.
SFS upload & MSign
Document upload, optional MSign signature request, status polling and signed-document download over the documented SFS REST API. Sandbox and production endpoints are editable; requests retry with exponential backoff and every call is logged.
Verification QR
After registration the SFS document identifier and series number are captured. An SFS verification QR is generated, with an offline JSON fallback, and rendered to a PNG for the printed invoice.
Accurate e-Factura document
A Moldovan CIUS profile layered on the engine UBL 2.1 builder: IDNO party identifiers as Peppol endpoints, the national VAT scheme (20% standard, 8% / 12% reduced, 0% zero-rated, exempt) and credit-note referencing of the original invoice.
Real IDNO validation
A 13-digit Moldovan IDNO validator (structure plus an advisory ISO 7064 weighted check digit) and a VAT-code validator run on the company and partners, with year-of-allocation decoding.
Business-rule validation
A Moldova rule set layered on the engine's EN 16931-style core checks seller/buyer IDNO, line VAT categories, statutory rates, MDL currency and the country code before anything is uploaded.
Bring-your-own-key
Your MPass token lives on the connection record, never in the module. It is transmitted only to the SFS e-Factura endpoint you configure — nowhere else. The MSign signature is applied by the SFS platform.
Guided onboarding
A wizard captures your IDNO, VAT registration code and MPass token, validates the IDNO, optionally tests the SFS connection and leaves the company ready to issue e-Factura documents. An optional cron drains posted documents to the SFS in batches.
Compatible with Odoo 18 and Odoo 19.
Disclosure
This module transmits invoice data only to the SFS e-Factura endpoint you configure. Your MPass token and IDNO are stored solely on your own database and are never sent anywhere else.
