Scheduled Backups to Any S3 Provider

Daily cron-driven backups to AWS S3, Wasabi, Backblaze B2, MinIO, DigitalOcean Spaces or Cloudflare R2. boto3 with a custom endpoint URL connects to any S3-compatible storage using your own access keys (BYOK).

GZIP Compression & Fernet Encryption

The Odoo dump is wrapped in a GZIP stream to shrink upload size, and can be symmetrically encrypted with Fernet using an auto-generated key on first run, keeping your data confidential at rest.

SHA-256 Manifest & Verify-on-Restore

A .manifest.json sidecar with the object SHA-256, sizes and metadata is uploaded alongside every backup and re-verified on download and restore, so corrupted or tampered backups are caught before they are used.

Retention Pruning

Automatically delete old backups by age (days) and/or by max-copies. Old S3 objects are removed in batches together with their manifests, keeping your bucket lean and your storage bill predictable.

E-mail Alerts & Connection Test

Receive success and/or failure reports to configurable recipients after every run. A built-in connection test validates your bucket and credentials before you ever rely on a scheduled backup.

Guided Restore Wizard

List remote backups, download, verify the SHA-256, decrypt and decompress automatically, then restore server-side into a brand-new database (never the live one) or stream the ready-to-use dump for manual restore.

Every copy carries a SHA-256 manifest and is verified before any restore, retention is enforced down to the deleted S3 objects, and the restore path is deliberately safe — it refuses to overwrite the live database and aborts if the target name already exists.
