Highlights Usage ingestion with idempotency keys so retried event pushes never double-count. A single ``ingest_usage`` API dedupes and buffers events. Metered features with per-feature units and aggregation windows (sum, max, last-value, unique-count) over the billing period. A real rating engine: flat per-unit, graduated tiered, volume, package/block and stair-step pricing, each with included allowances so only the overage is charged. Prepaid credits and minimum-spend commitments with automatic true-up. Mid-cycle proration of recurring platform fees by active days. Rated-usage to billing-line generation: one billing run per period aggregates usage, rates every feature, applies commitments and credits, and produces an auditable rated document.
